The Hinsdale Christmas Walk 2016 is set to take place on December 2, 2016 from 4pm to 8pm This event is in its 51st year and has become a deeply ingrained part of holiday tradition not only for the village as a whole but within the families that have become rooted there.
For some attendees, this will be their first time participating in the Hinsdale Christmas Walk and many of those who’ve never experienced it are still debating in their minds whether they should go. If you have the opportunity to participate this year, we at Hinsdale Barber Shop would like to encourage you to do so - it’s not something to miss.
Since 1972 our shop has been amid the action and we always look forward to this event. The walk is an opportunity for everyone in attendance to meet new people and share the joy of the holidays season with friends, family, and the local community.
There’s many other great things in store for those who take part in the Hinsdale Christmas Walk 2016. Santa will be there, for example, making a grand entrance by riding in on a fire truck. He’s going to assist with the lighting of the big Christmas tree.
Then there’s “Cookie’s Carousel” which is a new addition this year but is sure to bring plenty of excitement. The trackless kiddie train usually gets plenty of passengers and people of all ages can enjoy the giveaways of snacks, hot cocoa, and various other gifts.
“Believe in the magic of Christmas“
We thank all those who have been gracious enough to make coming in to Hinsdale Barber Shop part of their experience in the years past and we look forward to greeting new visitors. There’s a lot new about us this year, such as this website and the fact that we’ve relocated down the street from our old spot to a new location - these are just a few of the reasons we’re extra excited about the Christmas Walk this year.
If you’re attending the 51st Hinsdale Christmas Walk, remember to stop by even if just for a quick hello. We too will have wine and snacks to offer and would love to have you be part of our memories of Hinsdale Christmas Walk 2016. See you there!
