Hinsdale Barber Shop Was Opened
Founded in 1972 right in the heart of Hinsdale, our barbershop was opened by Rene with a simple goal—deliver great haircuts and genuine service to the local community.
1986
Sylvia's Journey From Apprentice to Leader
In 1986, Sylvia joined the family business and quickly became a vital part of the shop. Over time, she took on daily operations and earned her place as one of Hinsdale’s most respected barbers. Her dedication, skill, and leadership have kept the shop thriving while staying true to the values her father built it on.
2004
Same Tradition, Brand New Space
After years of renting, we found our forever home just a few doors down at 20 W. Hinsdale Avenue. It’s the same great barbershop you know and trust, now in a space we proudly call our own.

Hinsdale Barber Shop began in 1972 when Rene opened the doors with a commitment to quality cuts and genuine service. He later passed the shop to his daughter Sylvia, who continues to carry on the family tradition with the same care and dedication. Today, we remain a trusted part of the community, offering expert grooming in a relaxed and welcoming space.
